SCHOOL BUS VENDORS
Separate, sealed proposal for each of the requirements set forth below will be received at the Office of the Treasurer for Buckeye Local School District until 9:00 AM EST on July 20, 2015 and at that time will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Treasurer of the Board of Education Office as provided by Section 3313.46 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio.
One proposal shall be for one to four school bus body and chassis, meeting national and state standards and local Board specifications.
Copies of the specifications, instructions to the bidders and proposal forms may be obtained at the Office of the Treasurer of the Buckeye Local Board of Education, 3044 Columbia Road, Medina, Ohio 44256.
The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities, to accept or reject any and all or parts of any and all bids. Bids will be awarded to the lowest and/or best responsive and responsible bidder.
No bids may be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The bid will be for one (1) – four (4) 72-77 Passenger School Bus.

Board of Education Meeting Tuesday, July 21, 2015, Buckeye Administration Building, 7:00 PM
The Buckeye Local Schools will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at the Buckeye Local Schools Board Office, 3044 Columbia Road, Medina, OH, to discuss the intended use of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Part B special education funding for the upcoming fiscal year. The District will also seek public input on the use of IDEA, Part B special education funding at the hearing.

Any transportation request received after July 25, 2015 for the 2015 - 2016 school year, may result in self transportation to and from school until busing can be assigned to the student.
