Students who will be five years of age on or before August 1, 2023 are eligible to attend kindergarten during the 2023-2024 school year. We will be conducting screening appointments for eligible students on March 22nd, April 5th and April 13th. To sign up for a screening date/time, you may do so by completing this online form and selecting the slot that works best for you.
You will also need to register your child via our Final Forms Online Registration System, however this will not be open until March 1st. Please be sure to select the "2023-2024 school year" option. What happens at Kindergarten Screening?
Parents will report to the Buckeye Primary School at their scheduled screening time. There will be a sign-in area in the lobby directly beyond the main doors. During the screening session, parents will meet separately with office staff to attend an informational meeting in the Media Center while students will be assessed by our team of educational professionals. Parents will be in this meeting for the entire time while their children are being screened. For those parents without access to the Final Forms online registration portal, we will provide computers during this time to enable student registration. If you are completing the registration process during Kindergarten Screening, please make sure that you bring all necessary documents.

SAFETY TOWN
Safety Town is a one-week safety instruction program for students who will be entering kindergarten in August 2023. This program examines the different aspects of safety in an age-appropriate and fun way. Buckeye Safety Town will be held June 5th - June 9th at Buckeye Elementary School. Registration will begin on Friday, April 14th. A link will be posted on our website. The cost for Safety Town is $45. Payment is due before the first day of the program. Checks are to be made payable to: Buckeye Board of Education and can be dropped off in the Primary School Office.
