Superintendent’s Message
November 2023
We have turned the calendar to November, and the school year is progressing very nicely and quickly! It’s hard to believe it is November already, but the colder temperature and the need to wear coats and hats to school each day tell us it is so. Our students, teachers, and staff are working hard each day to continue to Believe, Empower, and Achieve, and the great work they do is evident every day. In the “thankful” month of November, I am very thankful for all of the work that goes on in the school district daily.
As I continue to get more familiar with the district, I ask you to reach out to me and answer the three questions below:
1: What do you love about Buckeye?
2: What would you like to see improved?
3: What do you expect from me as the Superintendent?
If you feel obliged, send me an email at jstanton@buckeyeschools.org with these questions answered. I also ask you to include your name and email address so I can respond. My goal is to compile this information from as many people as I can and use the responses to help guide the vision and future steps for the district. Responses can of course be anonymous if preferred.
Below you will see a brief list of important dates, times, and events that take place in November. Please reach out if we can answer any questions about the events.
Thank you for allowing me the honor and privilege of being your Superintendent.
Happy Thanksgiving! Go Bucks!
Jeff
