April 2026

As we enter the month of April, I am thrilled with the success of the school year so far and am confident the last part of the school year will be even more successful.  The students of Buckeye have enjoyed a great school year. Achievement in the classroom as well as in the co-curricular and extra-curricular fields has been amazing. Our teachers and staff continue their dedicated work and service for our students, and the community continues to support the school district. Congratulations to Buckeye Intermediate School and Buckeye Junior High School for being named “2026 Science of Reading Champions Schools,” two of only 109 school across the state to earn this distinction.

As the spring months are here, I continue to ask parents to help encourage daily attendance at school for the students.  We can’t teach them if they are not here!  Even one day of absence is meaningful, and lost instructional time is truly difficult to make up.

As the weather gets warm, I also recommend attending a spring event.  Softball, Track/Field. Girls Lacrosse and Baseball are all in full swing, with many home games.  Go Bucks!

Thank you for sending your children to the Buckeye Local Schools.  We are truly here for them and you, and we work hard each day to make sure every student has a great school experience. Thank you for allowing me the honor and privilege of being your Superintendent.  Go Bucks!
